Or were theatres your favourite paktor spot? Why not consider a movie-themed wedding then? After that, adjourn to the Rooftop bar with gorgeous views of the city and thrash the bride! Same for the bachelor. Though the choice of drinks and movies might be different. Or not. ;) For invitations, look for inspiration in the old school movie ticket or favourite movie poster. Bride on a budget? Ask around for a Poly graphic design student to customise an invitation for you. And lastly, isn't a popcorn table number just a fabulous idea? Something to fill up the guests too as they wait for dinner to start. Can even personalise with your wedding photo shoots on the other side.

Isn't it amazing how two people can re-connect online after years of absence and find more similarities than differences? 8 years after we parted ways, Clarie and I found ourselves planning for our happily ever afters in two different countries. Despite the timezone difference, we still excitedly trade ideas and opinions over MSN. Ever since Clarie set up the Wedding Manual blog, I eagerly await each new entry because she always has fresh ideas. So when she asked me yesterday to join her as co-author, I immediately went Yay! (Thanks Clarie!) All the months of wedding research that I did can be put into fruition here. I am brimming with ideas. You have been warned. |
